How to get a client to approve a page — with a link
“Looks good, approved!” is the message you actually want — but getting it usually means a thread of emails, a PDF passed around, or a tool that asks your client to make an account. Shareable turns the page you already shared into a place your client can sign off, in one click.
Why a “link approval” beats an email thread
- It’s on the thing itself. The approval sits on the actual page — not buried in a reply three emails deep.
- It’s identified. Each approver confirms their email once, so a sign-off is tied to a real person, not an anonymous “👍”.
- It’s auditable. You see who approved, who asked for changes, the note they left, and when — in one place.
- No account for them. Clients hate sign-ups. Approvers click a one-time link and they’re in.
How it works
- Publish the page. Paste the HTML your AI made, or drop in a PDF/deck — you get a clean link.
- Turn on Approvals in the Share dialog and add the approver emails. Each one gets an email: “You’re being asked to approve…”.
- They decide. On the page, a small panel lets them Approve or Request changes, with an optional note. You’re emailed instantly, and your dashboard shows the tally (e.g. “2 of 3 approved”).
Private or shared — your call
One toggle controls who sees the results. Private (the default) keeps every decision and note visible only to you — each approver sees just their own. Shared lets the approvers see each other’s decisions, which is handy when a committee is signing off together and you want it transparent.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a client to approve a proposal online?
Share the proposal as a page on Shareable, turn on Approvals, and add the client’s email. They get a one-time link, review the page, and click Approve or Request changes — no account needed. You’re emailed the decision and see who signed off, when.
Do approvers need an account?
No. An approver confirms their email once (a single click on a one-time link), then can Approve or Request changes with an optional note. There’s no password or sign-up.
Can I collect sign-off from more than one person?
Yes — add as many approvers as you need. Each acts independently (no required order), and the Share dialog shows who has approved and who is still pending.
Can approvers see each other’s decisions?
Your choice. By default, decisions and notes are private to you (the owner). Flip one toggle to “shared” and approvers also see each other’s decisions — useful when a group is signing off together.
